Rhonda Figone PT, DPT
Rhonda has over 20 years of experience with Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. She is a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Arcadia University in Philadelphia.
Rhonda has a long history of treating runners, cyclists, mountain bikers, and triathletes, guiding them to improve their mobility, form and efficiency. Utilizing a biomechanical assessment, manual therapy techniques, customized exercises, run form and technique, she helps runners and cyclists improve their efficiency, decrease their risk of injury, and perform at their best.
In her career, she has served as a Certified Athletic Trainer working with high school and college sports teams. Rhonda uses a focus on injury prevention and return-to-play for youth athletes.
Exploring our potential for self-healing with continued training and coursework in Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and Functional Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art.
Rhonda is passionate about racing in XC mountain bike, gravel and cyclocross disciplines, as well as in running events from a local fun run 5k to marathon. She has been competitive in 8-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour mountain bike and adventure races. Rhonda has been competitive in the XTerra Off-Road Triathlon Series, racing in both the XTerra National Championship and World Championship events in 2009. Recent adventures included the 2022 Leadville 100 MTB Race and 2023 Downieville Classic XC and mountain biking the Tour du Mont Blanc.
Most importantly, she understands how important it is to be able to compete year after year without nagging injuries and continue doing the activities you love!
